秦衍不知作何言语，只好默默看起侧写报告。
“华人，30岁到40岁之间，男性，具有一定的攻击性，对解剖人体很擅长，存在某些心理问题，遭逢过巨大变故，因此受到社会的某些攻击，幼时可能受到过虐待，导致其产生畸形心里，以此报复社会。”
秦衍笑了笑，除了年龄以外，其他的内容跟他的初步侧写差不多，他把年龄定在了15到45岁。一般人不可能会无缘无故的杀人，心理学上分析，大部分的杀人犯都是由于心理扭曲造成的，这种人往往都存在着极大的心理问题，通过某些行为来发泄内心，他们对社会产生极大的不满，将自己的痛苦加之于他人身上，以此来获得心理慰藉，这种也被称为反社会人格。
“The cprpses were handled cleanly and corpses were cut neatly.The technique of dividing the corpses of prisoners was quite skilled.（尸体处理的很干净，尸块切的也比较整齐，犯人的分尸手法倒是蛮熟练的。）”
秦衍突然说了句莫名其妙的话，詹姆·斯莱德想了想，猛地睁大眼睛，“You're saying this could be a serial killer?(你是说这可能是个连环杀人犯？)”
秦衍点头，手法如此熟练，凶手肯定是没少练习，他把犯人初步锁定在厨师、解剖医生和屠夫这几个行业中，而且……
“Mr.Slade,I remember that there was a case in your city five days ago.Why didn't you investigate these two to gether？（斯莱德先生，我记得贵市五天前也发生过一起案件，为什么没有把这两件放在一起调查呢？）”
秦衍放下手里的侧写报告，笑着问道。
詹姆·斯莱德沉默了，半响，他才缓缓开口：“There is no similarity between the two cases. The murder method, the identity of the deceased, the school and so on are completely incompatible...（这两个案件完全没有相似之处，杀人手法，死者身份，学校什么的完全对不上……）”
“No similarities.Are you sure？（没有相似之处，您确定吗？）”
“Ok, except for their age, the two people have nothing in common. What is the relationship between the two cases? One committed suicide and the other committed homicide.(好，除了年龄以外，两个人没有任何相似之处。一个跳楼自杀，一个他杀，两个案子之间能有什么关联。)”
“Qin Yan, why should we waste our energy on unimportant issues?(秦衍，我们为什么要把精力浪费在无关紧要的问题上呢？)
秦衍嗤笑一声，他单手捂眼睛，像是听到了什么好玩的笑话。
“If it really doesn't matter, why does Mr. Slade keep avoiding this topic? What's the secret of this case?(真无关紧要的话，斯莱德先生为什么要一直逃避这个话题呢，这个案件究竟有什么不可要人的秘密呢？)”
“I didn't escape, I was just talking about the facts. QinYan,the most important thing now is the autopsy case.(我没有逃避，我只是在就事论事。秦衍，现在最重要的，是眼下的分尸案件。)”
詹姆·斯莱德拼命掩饰着，他的眼神透露出他在说谎，秦衍懒得再和他周旋下去，直接打破表面上的和平。
“You're right,Mr.Slade.Now the most important thing is the autopay,but as far as I know Five days ago,a 17-year-old male high school student was killed behind the city hall buijding,the same age as the deceased this time.(您说的对，斯莱德先生，现在最重要的是分尸案。但据我了解到的五天前，在市政府大楼后面发生了一起命案，死者为17岁的男高中生，与这次的死者同岁。）”
“There are also traces of blunt force trauma on the back of the head.He was found in a trash can behind the city government.Do you need me to continue？Officer Slade.(脑后也有被钝器砸伤的痕迹，他被发现于市政府后的垃圾箱内，还用我继续说吗？斯莱德长官。)”
这件案子目击群众不多，加之发生在市政府大楼，目击者被封口，任何人不得走漏半点风声，秦衍也是动用了些特殊手段才查到的。
詹姆·斯莱德见自己底裤都被人扒的一干二净，叹了口气，缴械投降。
“Qin Yan,it's not that I deliberately hide from you,but that I can't say anything about that.（秦衍，不是我故意隐瞒不告诉你，而是这件事不能说。）”
“The deceased was found in the municipal government if the public knows about this matter,whether the municipal government is the scene of the crime or not,people will be preconceived,and the municipal government will lose its majesty in the hearts of the people,so we will seal the people who knew at that time.（死者是在市政府被发现的，如果公众知道这件事，不管市政府是不是案发现场，人们都会先入为主，市政府也会在人民心中失去威严，所以我们将那时候的知情人员进行封口。）”
“And it is also the most important reason that the case was handed over to the higher authorities,who ordered that no one should be allowed to question the case again.（而且，也是最重要的一个原因，这件案子被交由上级处理，下令不准任何人再过问此案件。）”
“Why？（为什么？）”
秦衍皱眉，可惜斯莱德并不能给他准确的答案。
“I can only tell you so much about this case, so listen to my advice. Don't pursue this case any more. Why don't we focus on the case of corpses？（关于这件案子的事情我只能告诉你这么多，所以听我一句劝，不要再继续追查这件案子了，我们把重心放在分尸案上不好吗？）”
斯莱德的态度已经表达得很明确了，如果秦衍要查那件案子，他无法给予帮助，如果上级下令，他很有可能会阻止秦衍。
秦衍的双拳握紧，他的表情已经给出了答案，他不想就此揭过去。
“所以，最后的结果如何？”
