季然微微低头，轻咳一声，抬手捏住了话筒，象征性地调整了一下话筒的角度，随后垂眸看着手边的一堆白纸，继续胡扯道：“Everyone's ability is different. In fact, everyone can improve their ability through repeated practice. Ability comes from hard work. So, I would like to ask you, which of the three principles of the Lionel Prize do you think is the most important?（每个人的能力是不同的，其实能力这个东西每个人都可以通过反反复复地不断练习去提升，能力源自努力。所以，我想问一问大家，你们觉得莱诺奖的三个原则中，哪个是最重要的？）”
她微微抬眸，随意地扫了一眼台下举起的双手，选择了刚才经济学奖的获得者乔瑟琳：“Jocelyn，you please.（乔瑟琳，有请）”
乔瑟琳有些错愕，她站起来，说了一句：“Ability.”
“Very good，thanks.（很好，谢谢）”季然的表情没有任何变化，她只是微微抬起右手微微往下压了压——那是一个请坐的手势，待乔瑟琳坐下后，季然面带笑容地望着台下，说，“I'm sure all of you in the audience have the same idea as her.（我相信台下的各位跟她的想法一定一样。）”
“Isn't it? Isn't that right?（不是吗？难道这不对吗？）”台下有人直接大声向季然提问道，“You have to be capable to achieve something！（你必须要有能力才能有所成就啊！）”
“I didn't say what she said was wrong, but I think I don't agree with her.（我没有说过她说的不对，但我想，我不太认同她的想法）”即使被打断了，季然也不羞不恼，而是从容不迫地接着说道，“I don't think ability is the most important of the three principles of the Lionel Prize. I think innovation is. Each of us is a unique individual, and our cognition of things is different, so each of us thinks differently. Human life is basically the same: studying, working, retiring，going round and round, day after day. The fate of human beings all over the world seems to be the same, which I think is very meaningless.（我并不认为能力是莱诺奖三个原则中最重要的，我认为创新才是。我们每个人都是独一无二的个体，我们对于事物的认知是不同的，所以我们每个人的想法也是不同的。人类的人生本就大同小异：读书、工作、退休，周而复始，日复一日，整个世界上的人类的命运似乎都是大同小异，我觉得这很没有意义。）
“Our lives can be similar, but our brains can't. As I said just now, each of us has a different cognition of everything. As the saying goes, "There are a thousand Hamlet in the eyes of a thousand people".
（我们的人生可以大同小异，但是大脑不可以，正如我刚才所说，我们每个人对于所有事物的认知都是不同的，正所谓“一千个人的眼中那个有一千个哈姆雷特”。）
Everyone's brain is a gift from heaven. It is never good or bad, and there is no intelligence or stupidity. It's just that everyone's way of thinking is different.

Innovation means that you are a special individual among all beings. When I was a child, I always had a wild imagination. I like to be in a daze. I'm in a daze when others are playing with toys, and I'm in a daze when others are studying. What am I staring at in a daze? I'm looking at the starry sky, and I'm thinking about the significance of these stars, which is why I later became an astronomer and why I don't fit in.
（创新意味着在芸芸众生里，你是特殊的个体。我小时候总是拥有天马行空的想象力，我最喜欢发呆。别人玩玩具的时候我发呆，别人学习的时候我发呆，我发呆看什么呢？我看星空，我在思考这些星星的意义，这既是我后来成为了天文学家的原因，也是我不合群的原因）
Of course, I'm not sharing my successful experience, nor teaching you how to become an astronomer, nor showing you that I'm special. I want to tell you that if one of you has a different view on something in the world than others, please don't doubt yourself, don't try to cater to everyone, please keep your "innovation", and remember, self means being unsociable.
（当然，我并不是在分享我的成功经验，也不是在教你们如何成为天文学家，更不是在向你们炫耀我很特别。我想告诉你们，如果你们中的某个人对于世界上的某一件事物拥有与别人都不同的看法，请不要怀疑你自己，不要试着迎合大家，请守住你的”创新“，请记住，自我就意味着不合群。）
However, only "self" can make you stand out. There are so many capable people in the world. Why is the Lionel Prize awarded to you? That must be because you have something that no one else has. That's what makes you unique.
（但是，只有"自我"才能让你脱颖而出，世界上有能力的人那么多，莱诺奖凭什么颁发给你？那一定是因为你身上有别人没有的东西，这就是你的独特之处。）
There are billions of planets in the starry sky above us, and each of them is unique, just like us in this world.

Therefore, I hope that the "innovation" in everyone's mind will be as bright and dazzling as the stars.

说这话时，季然抬眸，坚定地望着台下，与盛筵的目光再次碰撞。
盛筵仿佛在跟她说：“你就是未知。”
她极快地收回目光，开始收尾：“ Finally, I want to thank myself for choosing the road of "self" and "innovation", and more importantly, you who let me make these firm choices with courage.

掌声络绎不绝。
不论是此刻在现场的众人，亦或者是屏幕前观看直播的人，都在这个年仅二十岁的天才少女的身上看到了未知，也看到了能够点亮自己未来的光亮。
她是未知，她的未来是未知，可我们的未来又何尝不是呢？
我们要确认删除过去的所有执念与偏见，抛下所有不能舍弃的一切，然后奔向未知的前方。
如果说，每个人的一生都是一个函数关系式，那么我们每个人都是这个关系式中的自变量。
我们的未来——是因变量，因为我们变了，所以它改变了。
所以未来永远掌握在自己手中，逆天改命也从不是梦。
我们是人生的主人，是自己未来的掌控者。
也许，未来的意义就是——
